Schwerin – JETHRO TULL´S Rocklegende MARTIN BARRE bereist im Herbst diesen Jahres Europa um mit seiner Band und Support SHELLY BONETfolgende Länder zu bespielen. Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Slowenien, Ungarn, Tschechien, Polen, Niederlande, Belgien, Dänemark, Norwegen, Schweden, Italien, Spanien und Russland.
MARTIN BARRE´s Set wird seine eigenen sowie auch JETHRO TULL Klassiker beinhalten. Neben seiner Zeit mit JETHRO TULL spielte MARTIN BARRE mit Künstlern wie Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, Gary Moore, Pink Floyd oder auch Fleetwood Mac. 1988 erhielt MARTIN BARRE einen Grammy für das JETHRO TULL Album "Crest of a Knave", seine Soli auf "Aqualung" brachten ihn in die Top 20 in den USA und UK.
Mit knapp 40 Shows, können die Fans ihre lebende Legende jetzt auch vermehrt in Deutschland live erleben.

– Mr. Barre, with the tour starting of in Nuernberg, are you looking forward to the fans in Germany?
– I am really looking forward to Nuernberg, not only is it a beautiful town, but I can’t wait to play our new set to the German fans.
They are very special people to me.
– Mr Barre, your support for this tour is Shelly Bonet. How did you meet and what expectations do you have for your time together?
– Shelly Bonet is a very talented artist. I am very much looking forward to working with her and helping make this a great tour.
– Mr. Barre, you won a Grammy in 1988 and got a place in the Top 20 of the US Charts and UK. Was this a dream come true for you?
– I never dreamt of winning a Grammy,so when i got it I was very,very surprised. Now I realise it’s importance and I am very proud of it .
– Mr Barre, on your tour you will also be playing in Schwerin, our provincial capital. Have you been here before? If yes, why? What do you expect from your fans in Schwerin?
– I love all the towns I play in …I will try and go for a run, I’m sure there is somewhere possible and then I will be in a very good mood for the audience

Seit ihrer Tour zusammen mit MICHAEL BOLTON im Frühjahr 2014, geht es steil bergauf für die charismatische Sängerin SHELLY BONET. Wer die Rockröhre live gesehen hat, wurde bereits in ihren Bann gezogen.
Schon für die Ohren allein ist sie kaum zu fassen. Und kommen erst die Augen hinzu, wird SHELLY BONET vollends zum Rätsel: Ihre Stimme ist so groß, als wären Nina Simone und Janis Joplin in einer Person wieder auferstanden –

– Shelly Bonet: In spring 2014 you had a tour together with Michael Bolton and your career has been skyrocketing since. Did you expect such a high echo?
– That’s wonderful to hear!! I’m very pleased with the response!! The Michael Bolton Tour was great to be part of. His fans gave me a chance and I’m grateful that we were received in such a positive way.
– Shelly Bonet: Your voice is often compared to Nina Simone and Janis Joplin. What do you think about this identification?
– Its quite a compliment! Both are big influences of mine. I can’t complain with that comparison at all! I do hope that audiences can come away appreciating my sound as well.
– Shelly Bonet: You will be on tour with Mr. Barre, are you nervous? What do you expect from this tour?
– It wouldn’t be normal for me if I wasn’t a little nervous! I’m excited more than anything else… I look forward to the whole experience. I’m really looking forward to meeting Martin Barre and hearing him and his band play.
– Shelly Bonet: Same question to you: have you been to Schwerin before? If yes, when and why? What do you expect from your fans in Schwerin?
– I’ve never been to Schwerin before. I did look Schwerin up and I’m looking forward to singing in your lovely city. It’s beautiful. I’m very happy to be sharing my music there. I hope to make new friends and expect an awesome night of music!
